Sigiriya

Marvelous place in Sri Lanka, this place is known as Sigiriya. It is located in the Matale district of the Central Province. A canal has been set up as a bulwark around Sigiriya. Crocodiles are said to have been raised in this canal. This is their security system


. This is built up King Kasiyapan. for his defense tool is known as the 8th wonder of the world. This is a giant monolithic rock, about 660 feet ( 220m) and top side is flat.Sigiriya Hill consists of two parts.  They are divided into lower part and upper part. Going up from that area to the upper part there is a lot of evidence that there are many brick systems set up by the sands


As it  lot of strange brick structures there but even archeologists are not able to make complete sense of what these structures were used. We can  see is at least 1500 years old. How did ancient builders manage to move all these bricks to the top of the rock?  It have approximately 3 million bricks are found here,

 The lower part is found to have security arrangements and includes charitable activities that can be enjoyed. At the bottom are the Sigiriya murals, similar to the Ajanta paintings of India. These are called Sigiriya Bithisithuvam n in Sinhala. In it we can still see many paintings depicting nuns carrying flowers after getting naked woman.

This is exactly why no one, not even the locals knew about Sigiriya until 200 years ago, because there were no stairs to the top. So how did early human beings get to the top of Sigiriya?
